Gender: Female
Kind: Tortoiseshell
Home: St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Hello, I am Patches, I am a very wweet and independent girl. I was adopted from a Local Shelter six years ago in St. Louis kill shelter by a loving family. I am so happy my family has loved and taken care of me for six happy years!

I am told I am a blessing for all the love I give. But my story is about how good they are to me. My favorite quote I would like to tell people is: "Spay or Neuter your Cat and Please don't forget to spoil them the way you want be treated!" It is nice to be a Loved and Appreciated Cat!

I had a family that currently gave me up due to a child with severe health issues. After looking into every other plan and option for me, they emailed a rescue in Carthage to help find a good home. They were so sad to give me up, but the time they spent planning and planning made the big diference in the world! They fixed me up with lots of food, litter, my own pans, dishes, six months of flea treatments and best of all, they love me still enough to assure I would go to a good home and keep in touch! They drove eight-ten hours to get me to the only place with an opening for a No-Kill Rescue in Carthage. I have an example of a family that really loves me enough not to dump me at the first shelter they came to.

And now I am Very Happy with my new family as I adjust to getting spoiled again. Our family now are very thankful for my other family that gave me life. I really enjoy and gave them a blessing to treasure for life!

Now I like to sit on a screened in porch and watch the birds and squirrels, I watch the clouds pass by while I bathe and sleep in the sun. I have no dogs to worry about, I am living in a warm house in the winter and a cool house in the summer. My people keep me on top quality cat food and offer plenty water fresh twice a day!
