This
is a picture of first cat, Rucifee. He was named after the cat in
the Disney movie, Cinderella. The cat's name is actually "Lucifer" in
the movie, but when Jack and Gus Gus the mice say the cat's name, it
sounds like "Rucifee." So we named him that because he's a naughty
little cat. He's about 2 1/2 years old and also lives with us and his
sister, Cleo, in Newport Beach, CA. He wishes he was an outside cat,
but he is an indoor cat because we don't want him with the beach/alley
cats or by the street.
We first got Rucifee when we lived in Irvine, CA and he got a little bit
lonely being at home all day by himself. When we moved to Newport Beach,
we got the second cat, Cleo, so he could have a sister to play with all
day while we were away. They generally get along well, but because he was
"around first," he can be a bit of a bully. Sometimes he gets put in "time
out" when he's too rough with Cleo, but whenever he comes out he licks her
on the head to show us that he's ready to play nice!! Rucifee is a funny
little cat with a lot of character. He likes to bit at fingers, but only
when he is happy and purring. He also likes to wake us up daily at 4:30 am
by stomping all over the alarm clock since he sees that the alarm clock is
what wakes us up every morning.
