Hello,
this special little guy is Cairo (aka Cai-zee, Cairoski,
Pooh-head, Sweet-pea, Spazz) and I have been gladly owned by him for
almost fifteen years. Cairo was given to me from my sister as a house-warming
gift. He's a rescue kitty from the local Humane Society - I couldn't
imagine that anyone didn't want this teeny tiny affectionate bundle of
fuzz (he didn't have a thick fur coat for several months) but I'm glad
that he came into my life. We bonded almost immediately. Cairo loves
other people too but only comes to them on his own terms (as most cats
do). He's amazing.
"Meow" everyone. As you can see my name is Cairo. I am going to be
celebrating my 15th birthday soon so I expect that I'll get plenty of tuna
or beef flavored treats - my favorite! My human mommy takes good care of
me, and I of her. I make sure that she gets up in the morning, I look out
the main window to make sure there are no squirrels that might get in her
way as she leaves for work and I make sure her lap is warm when relaxing
by the TV or reading a book. I used to entertain her a lot more when I was
younger... racing around the apartment, playing with string and just
making her laugh. Now since I'm older I still entertain but they are
limited engagement shows which makes her appreciate it even more. Oh yes,
my main job now that I'm a "senior" is keeping the bed warm. It's a tough
job but I have to do it. My mommy says I'm the best cat ever!
