Mee!
Hello, my name is Jessie. I am a delicate and feminine calico doll
with fur soft as mohair. I wasn't born in a manger or in a cow shed, but
actually on a horse saddle in a stable. But I believe I am a princess
even if it's not grand or anything. My mommy wanted to give a kitten to
her grandmother who just lost a cat, and since she had the first choice
on the litter, she picked me, of course, I was so cute! The day mommy
was to surprise her grandmother with me, she learned that she already
adopted a kitty. And since mommy is so allergic to kitties, she wasn't sure
what to do with me - that was eleven years ago and I am still her Pretty
Jessie.
I am quite aware of my charms and I love to be admired, especially by
gentlemen. As visitors come through the door, I make sure everyone can
see me and my irresistible beauty. When someone gets near, I strike a
pose, bat my eyelashes and talk with a small voice, and say 'Mee!'
Everyone gasps. Everyone's ecstatic. I love it!
True, I can be precious at times but that's only because I'm so soft and
pretty! I am a small kitty with such a sweet disposition and I am easy to get
along with... even when I play patty-cake! When mommy is sad or sick, I
purr her spirits up with my sweet gaze, trying to make her understand
that I am there for her as she is for me. I adore my mommy and I know
she loves me, too.
As you can see in the picture, I adore Christmas trees. When mommy is
looking for me around this time of year, she knows where to find me -
under the tree, my eyes looking up at the lights and glittering
decorations... I really do love everything that shines! Don't you think a
princess under a Christmas tree is very pretty as much as me and my mommy do?
