Sophie
Jo came to us on October 14th. She was part of a litter of five
kittens and was the only calico in the bunch. When we got her she
hid under the entertainment center the first 24 hours and meowed and
would not come out. It was almost at the point of disassembling the
unit to rescue her, but we were struggling with how to do so without
scaring her more.
Finally, on Sunday morning she eased her was out and I reached in and
grabbed her. We then had to cat-proof the entertainment center so she
would not go behind or under it and get stuck again.
Lo and behold, the entertainment unit is now her personal tree house,
and she climbs to the top and gets inside the doors and sleeps. She is
growing to be a beautiful cat with her own personality! She certainly
keeps us guessing!
