Rusha
is my cat - a shelter rescue, about seventeen months old. I just think
she is the prettiest thing i've ever seen :) She likes to stalk my pet
guinea pig (Geddy) from outside his cage... it keeps both their
instincts in tune - and don't worry, there's never any danger involved.
They have made it into a kind of game between them, I guess. Geddy and
Rusha are both named after my favorite band, Rush.
Rusha is so much fun! She is very affectionate and playful and quite a
talker. She has this nylon cat tent that she loves... she goes inside
and then i poke at it from the outside and she tries to bat my finger
away with a big growly meow! Her other favorite game is fetch. I never
taught her how to play. she loves to chase her favorite toy down the
hall and then brings it back to me so I can throw it for her again (and
again and again and again). She's often found sleeping on a fuzzy mat on
top of the fridge. She likes to sleep on me at nighttime, and will crawl
up my front and put her paws on my shoulders while I give her a good
scratch before we fall asleep.
