This
is one of our three family cats. His name is Akito. He is lucky to be
alive due to the fact that we found him mewing along a fence row on a road
where cars fly by at high rates of speed. It took us almost an entire day
to capture him. He was a very fast and very small kitten covered in fleas.
He had a scratched up face from all of the briars and brush he had run
through. When my daughter first laid eyes on him, it was love at first
sight. He has been her baby boy ever since!
Akito, as you can probably tell from his picture, is very mischievous. He
does what he wants, when he wants to do it. One of his favorite spots is
on top of the refrigerator looking down on the family. He does not know
the meaning of "get off." He is definitely the king of the kitties in our house.
He has grown into a beautiful cat and it is hard to believe someone threw
him out on the side of the road. We are so lucky to have found such a
beautiful loving kitty!
