Monkey
is our calico adoptee (as a kitten) - she is now three years old.
She's a water lover and plays fetch!
Monkey is playful and rambunctious. She is curious and loves to
get into anything and everything to see how it "fits" her, from suitcases,
to drawers, bowls and boxes. She hides from our other cat by laying low
in the kitchen sink. She sleeps with us every night and insists on
being right up against you at all times! She prefers toys that move
fast (she is crazy about the laser light) and likes things better if
they make noise, too. She will play fetch with the twist ties you find
on bread bags, even jumping up to catch them mid air. She even lets you
know where she has accidentally lost them (under the refrigerator or
cabinets, etc) by sitting and staring intently - then she paces back and
forth when she sees you have a long stick to get them out for her. She
also loves the smell of flowers, and will often take time to "stop and
smell the roses." She doesn't actually meow, but occasionally you will
hear a bit of a squeak when she is excited or really hungry.
