This
is our beautiful kitten Pikoka. He was found in our garden in August of
1999. We already had two other cats at that time, so we were reluctant to keep
him. The one who decided we should keep him was my grandmother, who was
hospitalized because of a stroke a few months later, and then unfortunately
died. Pikoka, by that time, had become too important to our family to ever
think of giving him away.
Over time, he has become much more important to our family. He is playful and
cheerful, but has had some troubles. He broke his right rear leg, twice in the
same place, so has undergone two surgeries, he still limps when he walks, but
he can run hard to escape the bathroom if someone is about to close the door.
Some time later, being all white and loving to lay in the strong Brazilian
sun, he had cancer in both ears and it was necessary to remove the tips, but
he still remains great to this day, just has a more unique look to him now.
Currently, he is the oldest of the four family cats, and he is respected by
all. Our family hopes you all enjoy the history of our beloved Pikoka. Feliz
Natal, everyone!
