I
rescued Colin two years ago; he spent the first three years of his life shut
inside a flat and had never gone outside in his life. When he first walked on
grass he panicked and bounded all four legs off the ground like Tigger up then
back down the garden again. Even now, he panics if something tickles his leg
when walking across the garden.
Nowadays, Colin is a real pampered puss and will eat only dried food and then
only certain types and picks out his favorite colors and leaves the rest.
He is not an agile animal and tends to jump up on the table and then panic and
change his mind halfway. If you laugh, he 'sulks' (back to you, crouched down,
swishing his tail).
He loves sitting with you when you have a bath and (wish I could upload the
pics off my phone of this!) sleeps with his head stretched out flat and his
front legs tucked under and behind him, so his pads are uppermost. Sometimes
he looks like a road accident victim sprawled there.
We call him Cod, Coddy Cat and Mr Cod and love him very very much!
