Little
Red was dropped off at my work two years ago when he was only four
weeks old. Someone found him on the side of the road abandoned, avoiding
passing cars. I brought him in, set him up in a cage, fed him, and loved
him. Well, nobody claimed him or wanted to adopt him, so I brought him
home where I had a momma kitty with babies his age. Momma kitty adopted
him! She let him nurse with the other kittens and he just fell in love
with her too! He lived the first few months of his life on my shoulder
until he was able to gain some reassurance that I was not going to desert
him. It was fun feeding him, carrying him from room to room as I did my
chores, and placing him in the litter box. He was too small to climb in
there on his own! With all he had been through, I didn't have the heart to
take him to a shelter.
To this day, he still acts like a baby kitten and is the most affectionate
cat I own. He does not leave my side, and sleeps with me every night. He
doesn't "meow" but grunts instead! He was so tiny as a kitten, but Little
Red is now 20 pounds. He is a big healthy cat! He has four kitty cat
friends in the house, and three doggie sisters. He is one amazing cat that
I am very blessed to own. I suggest everyone adopt a cat, they know when
they have been saved and are the most loyal babies ever!
