We
found Destiny at six months. She was living in our yard/garden. I would
hear her cute little meow and would feed her outside my door. She would
never come to me. So, I decided to rescue her in a "have a heart" trap. I
thought she was little enough that either I could keep her or bring her to
a no-kill shelter and have someone adopt her. It was so cold and rainy
when we got her. I was hesitant to keep her due to the fact that we have
another eight-year-old female cat in our home already. I promised myself to at
least give her a try to keep her. As you can tell, it did work out and she
now remains in our household. Destiny is now an indoor cat.
We named her Destiny because we thought it was fate that she ended up in
our yard. So, Destiny it became. Her sister, Mia, loves her. Yeah, it took
some time to get adjusted but with a little patience it did wonders.
Besides, Destiny gives her sister exercise in which she desperately needs, hee hee.
She loves to play and sit in the bathroom while you take a bath. She is
very vocal and brings love to our home. She brings out her sister's
motherly instincts. We feel good knowing that we rescued an innocent
animal out from the wild.
We strongly recommend adopting an animal. What you see right here is a
perfect example. Meow!
