This
is Captain Pickles. He's around six years old he was a shelter cat.
He's a Turkish Van and likes water, rubber bands, shiny objects and
cellophane. He's a very silly cat so we like to make up silly stories
about him. For example, we say The gray spot on his head is a stain from a
certain former Televangelist's mascara. He likes to go buffet hopping to
maintain his portly physique, but has been banned from most of them for
eating off other people's plates. He sells homemade tortillas out of his
minivan taxi, but they're not very popular because there's often white
hair in them. Oh, and he plays that famous saxophone solo in Gerry
Rafferty's 'Baker Street.'
But all kidding aside, Captain Pickles is a very sweet and friendly cat.
He's never met a stranger and will promptly curl up and purr in your lap
the first time you meet him. Captain Pickles is very loved and adored.
