Vé
is one of my warrior kitties that I rescued from a not very good
breeder. He was sick and struggled the first week as we tried to get
him well. He got an ulcer on his eye and almost lost it in the week
before I picked him up.
Working with the vet, we saved his eye. Vé is a sweetheart, he gives
warm snuggles and is also full of vinegar tormenting his older brothers
Loki and Thor. His right ear curls back and gives him an elfin look. He
is my baby Vé.
He knows a trick of climbing up my leg as I try to make supper. He
wants to help taste - hee hee. He has a tenacious appetite. He has to
have a bath every week, and he has to have his ears cleaned with a
special solution once a week. He doesn't care for his baths much. He
fights me just a little but he is so small still, it's quick and
painless.
He is full of kitten attitude and loves to play and chase anything that
moves. He runs through the house tormenting all his brothers from two
other Sphynx to a full grown Mastiff. One of his favorite spots to
lounge is on top of the sleeping Mastiff. He has a loving personality
and always gives us the loving. He loves to lounge on my lap with his
two brothers Thor
(who was cat of the day back in 2/18/01) and Loki. On
a sad note, baby Thor, who is now eight years old, has just been diagnosed
with tummy cancer. We are just enjoying him a day at a time. Every day
is a miracle with my baby Thor. So remember all you readers out there
love your baby every day, for each day is a miracle.
Bath time is different for each Sphynx - Thor loves his bath time and
Loki hates his bath time. I use a wash cloth with Loki because he is so
freaked out over water. Each one has their own personality. Vé is
loving and full of kitten fun.
