My
name is Estes Parker Silvey and I live in Kearney, Missouri. I am a
blue Persian. I was named after Estes Park, Colorado. My mom and dad love
vacationing there. I don't like it when they're gone, but mom has two or
three different people come in and check on me and my older brother when
they are gone. She even calls and leaves us messages on the phone when
she's away. I love to sit and play in boxes and containers of all
different shapes and sizes. I have an older brother, Farley. He is the
outgoing one and I am the shy, quiet one. I feel more comfortable around
adults. I like to hide under the bed when children come to visit.
My favorite things to do are sleeping on my back and playing with my toys.
I can fetch a ball and I am very agile for a big kitty. My mom spoils me
and my brother Farley all the time. I love it when she combs me and washes
my face. It makes me purr really loud. My mom says that I snore loud, but
she thinks it's cute. She lets me sleep with her on the bed. I love my mom
and dad. Dad combs me too, but he doesn't do it as well as my mom. Mom
gives me kisses on the forehead. I love my family, except sometimes my
brother tries to be bossy since he was adopted first. I still like him but
he is a noisy guy. He is a Himalayan and he talks all the time. Oh well...
you can't have everything.
Estes also likes to sleep on top of the dishwasher when it is running. We
imagine it's like his own personal session at the spa! He sure keeps us
smiling.
