Wolvee
is my ten-year-old little Somali girl. She is a tiny little thing, she
weighs about 6 1/2 pounds. Wolvee loves to eat, but she is very active like
most Somalis so she stays fit. She is a sweet gentle girl and I would hand
her to anyone to hold, even little kids. She has a tortoiseshell sister kitty
Remy who is nine years old and they get along great, they groom each other, play
and sit side by side watching birds but they don't snuggle with each other
very often. They both sleep with me every night especially in the winter.
Wolvee even gets under the covers. They both go on outings with me. They go
to my Mom and Dad's for the day and other places, Wolvee has been to PetSmart
a few times and I even carried her thru Home Depot once. I have had both of
them for over eight years and they have only spent about three nights alone. When I
travel they stay with my Mom and Dad, a friend or my sister. I know, they are
quite spoiled but they deserve it.
Wolvee does have IBD so she needs to be on a special diet. I tried for a long
time to get it under control with numerous things, from acupuncture to home
cooked meals and tons of different commercial diets. I finally have it under
control, for about four years now she has been eating a raw diet and she loves it
and does great on it. She is my darling little Somali girl.
