Max
is one of the most vocal and loving cats I have come across. Max will
carry on a conversation with you. If you walk past him and say "Hi Max," it
will sound just like he is saying "hi" back. He had been abandoned for a
while before we got him and we thought we would have a hard time getting him
to warm up to us. It took about an hour.
If he can't get your attention by just meowing, he will come up and head butt
you until you pay attention. He loves to be petted, especially his head to
the point that his mouth will slightly open like he is saying "Oooh that feels
so good."
Max is by no means small, he weighs about seventeen pounds. You can definitely hear
him when he runs through the house or up the staircase. As you can see by the
picture, he just does fit into a bathroom sink. Max is also a camera ham. We
have several pictures of him and to see them you would think that he had posed
for them.
