Hi
everyone, my name is Dennis, and I live in Corydon, Indiana. My Daddy
rescused me from the local animal shelther, I made sure he saw me too. While
all the other guys where just laying around taking it easy, I was vocal and
reaching my paw out to him. When I got to my new home Mom had no idea that
Daddy had planned a trip to find a new pet. It didn't take long at all for Mom
to fall in love with me either.
My daily routine consists of waiting for Daddy to get up and feed me canned
food, fresh milk, and a drink from the tap and some petting attention. Then
it's off to the window to watch for birds and squirrels. After that it's time
for a good nap on the sofa back. When Mom gets up, I have to whine around for
a cleaner litter box because I'm too fancy to use the one I've already been in
once before. She tells me that it's not dirty and to use it. Then I check
out the window again before a good afternoon nap in my favorite chair, and
Mom's, "the recliner".
The rest of the day is a blur - laying around and resting. My greatest fears
are the dreaded beast, the vacuum, the "Hoover Monster" and the doorbell when
those strangers arive. I'm sure to be hid under the bed the whole time that
the Hoover Monster is out and when strangers are here. Whenever I hear
thunder I run for the bed also. I simply love it when someone takes time to
play weedeater string with me. I always fall for the same old tricks because
it's so much fun to get the attention. I think I have the best Mommy and
Daddy in the world, they love me so much and I love them.
