Simba, the Cat of the Day
Name: Simba
Age: Ten months old
Gender: Male
Kind: Himalayan Persian
Home: Clapaham North, London, UK

This is Simba O Gorman. He likes Brazilian Cusine, watching airplanes and following them with his head, Dolce di Leche Ice Cream, sleeping with his head on the pillow, biting feet, and always being around people. He dislikes being left behind, hearing the word "No," and having his eyes wipe with face wipes.

Essex, July 2008, a little ball of white fluff with a grumpy face and watery eyes was to become part of our lives. And so, Simba was born and came to the Capital to join our lives in Clapham. From the beginning his inquisitive and curious nature often got him in lots of trouble.

With a love of company and affection, he hates nothing more than to be alone. He also loves the comforts of his warm London flat, though he does also like the occasional drive in Daddy's car, relaxing in the sunshine of the passenger seat! When summer is approaching, Simba likes to soak up the warm sun rays from his patio garden, though he's not allowed out late at night because Dangerous Mr. Fox is never far away!

Simba fancies himself as a ladies man, always flirting with young girls, showing off his furry belly. He thirsts for attention, kicSimba around his kitchen foil balls round the kitchen floor. A connoisseur of fine cuisine, he loves sampling new sweet and sour delights, from Brazilian cuisine to butter popcorn, grilled mushrooms, stir fried chicken, and even roasted peanuts.

But this loveable, furry ball of loving fluff also has an evil side, loving nothing more than capturing and killing unsuspecting bumble bees and flies from the patio. He also has bad habits which infuriate his Mummy, for instance when he destroys newly budding tulips or wakes Daddy up at 3AM.

Never alone, day or night, always loving, Simba sleeps with his head on the pillow, his body stretched out next to Mummy, snoring contently.

Always entertaining and good humoured, he has brought a spark of life and love to our lives.
