Hi,
my name is Moe, or as my Mommy calls me, her Grumpy Old Man. I was born in
Mesa, Arizona on May 7, 1988 and moved with my Mommy to Canoga Park one year
later. (That makes him 22 1/2 years old - yes, you read that right, he's 22
1/2!!)
I am very protective of my Mommy, especially guarding her from that new young
interloper, Bella, who entered our lives about three months ago after my (sorta)
buddy, Pookie, passed away. These days, I love to snuggle with my Mommy at every
opportunity. Otherwise, I like sleeping on her bed. Oh, and patrolling my turf
and protecting her from Bella, but I mentioned that before.
When I was a lot younger, I loved to fetch a string or other toys that Mommy
threw across the room, but now I just can't be bothered. My beauty rest is much
more important. I need all my strength for night-time 'search and destroy'
missions around the home. It's hard work being the senior member of the family.
I also love to sit in the front window and catch the morning rays. I've been
known to nap there for long periods. Sunshine feels sooo good.
I've been experiencing some health problems lately, but who wouldn't at my age!
Mommy estimates I'm about 104 in human years. But I tolerate the nasty
medications and still love my Mommy. I know she means well, I just reserve the
right to kvetch about it... loudly. Well, I'm off to take another nap... or
maybe catch some rays... or maybe both.
