Hi
all, please meet Molly. She is just the best cat in the whole wide world!!
I always wanted a cat and decided to go to the SPCA. When I walked in the
cattery she was the only one that came up to the cage door and started
meowing; as if she is saying pick me, pick me. She even stuck out her paw
looking for attention. She immediately stole my heart and luckily I got to
take her home the same day! She is now so much bigger when we got her. I
think she is almost a pig when it comes to food but according to the vet she
is not obese, so I don't see the harm.
Sadly one day I found her and realized something was seriously wrong, I took
her to the vet as soon as possible and then we found out a dog probably bit
her. She had to stay with the vet for three days and had stitches where the dog
had cut her with his teeth. I was just so glad she was fine. After that we
realized that on her stomach she had a bruise that was not healing so the vet
had to remove that part, too. She was sore for a few days and had some
problems when needing to use the litter box but after a month she was back to
normal again.
She is a very loving cat, whenever we have visitors she will always come to
say hi and would even sit on your lap or tries something to show off. But
then she can also be a handful when that person might not like a cat. When
she is sitting on your lap you should not dare to move her, as she will bite
you. But she is still great though!
She also has a brother called Smokey which is a pitch black cat, she did not
like him in the beginning but now they are best buds. She looks after him so
nicely!
What I love about her is when I get home from work she will run up to come say
hi and I think she is thankful for having a home. And the times when she
sleeps on her back sometimes she almost looks human to me. She also loves
hiding underneath things or climbing in things as you will see with her
photos. I love her!
