I
found him on a street, crying and starving, it broke my heart. Many of
you don't know the real problem in Greece with stray cats and dogs. I had
to rescue him, otherwise he would have been another victim of the wheels of
a car. I just love him, he has changed my life in so many ways. He is a
natural! When I am down he is there to cheer me up. I don't feel that I
adopted him, I think it's the other way round. Words are too limited to
express how special he is, but I will try.
First of all he is attached to me. He wants me sitting next to him while he
is eating and when I get up to do something else he stops eating his food.
He follows me everywhere, he wants attention at all times, when he doesn't
have any he starts meowing until he gets what he wants. So, I would say he
is not an independent type of guy!
He loves playing with his catnip toy, and he is bored with it, I am his
toy. I am the big walking catnip toy. When I go to bed he will come and
sleep next to me, but first he makes me feel like I am a pizza dough with
all of his kneading he does before he sleeps. A friendly slap and purring
to wake me up in the morning is done on a daily basis. When we got out of
bed, he runs to his kitchen chair and waits for his treat. Then I give him
a big kiss and a hug before he goes out to play in the backyard "school,"
as I and my husband call it, to explore the outside world safely.
