I've
always loved cats and I grew up with several when I was younger. The
time had come for me to adopt a cat of my own. I went to the Humane Society
and I looked at several cats but none of them seemed to be the right one.
The lady then took me outside to a building where they kept the stray cats.
I was looking at a huge long haired black cat and I was heading back inside
to find out more about him when a cat stuck out his blue grey paw at me to
get my attention. He was a very handsome cat so I held him for a minute and
he purred and seemed to have a great personality. I then wanted to also
know more about him.
His name was Storm and he wasn't a stray but had been brought in as one.
His former owner had abandoned him and a neighbor must've brought him to
the Humane Society. When Storm's former owner found out he told the Humane
Society that he didn't want Storm any more. Storm was about one year old at
the time. I had to wait a while to be interviewed before I was able to
adopt Storm. They gave me a number and it turned out that my number matched
Storm's cage number. I then knew that he was meant to be with me. He's now
been with me for many years and he's seen several cats come and go. He's
the first cat that I've owned by myself, my oldest cat, and my alpha cat to
my five other cats. He's also my heart kitty and I couldn't have asked for
a better cat. We have a very strong bond and I love him very much.
