Here's
my Simba... We live in Sunny Central Florida. Simba was an orphan and
was bottle fed by us. She was a very sick kitten for her first year of life.
We were told she wouldn't live to be one year and here it is ten years later.
She has bunny soft fur and is my husbands favorite (or I should say he's her favorite).
Simba is a junk food junkie and comes running if she hears a chip bag or
Little Debbie snack bag. Her favorite chip is Doritos Nacho Cheese, if you
have them, you'd better be prepared for a begging cat. Simba and her baby
blue eyes are a pure joy in our life. Her full name, by the way, is Simba
Mbili Lady Godiva. (Simba Mbili is Swahili for lion two because she's our 2nd
Simba).
Simba is still with us at fourteen and going strong, a little fatter and a little
slower but still here. Recently she has chosen our adopted son Elijah who is
now seven as hers, and sleeps with him every night. When bed times rolls around
she goes right into his room and waits form him to situate then takes her
spot beside him.
