My
name is Kitt and Mom and Dad rescued me at three months old from a family
that had a Dog that didn't like me. I was so happy to get a new home with me
being the only pet. I really thought I had won the lottery. I had the run of
the house, lots of hiding places, toys galore and was pampered all the time.
I got my Mom and Dad trained within two weeks of my every need. Hey why not?
I was a cat.
I did save their lives one night when I smelled something bad in the kitchen,
so I jumped on the bed and meowed to the top of my lungs until someone got
up. Sure enough, the kitchen was filled with a smoke smell from a plastic
spoon that fell on the dish washer element. My Dad and Mom were very proud of
me, and bought me very expensive treats the next day.
Before I turned six I got really sick and had to go to the animal hospital.
Everyone tried their best, but I knew I would spend my other lives in cat
heaven.
Mom and Dad missed me so much they went to the animal shelter and saved a
little four month girl they named Rusti. The night before picking up Rusti they
checked out a family that was giving away kittens and fell in love with
another little girl they named Dale.
I know they still miss me and I will always miss them too. I also know that
Rusti and Dale are their best friends too and they trained Mom and Dad just
like I did.
