This
is my Baby. My one and only. Her life started out rough. She was born
under a trailer in the insulation. Her mother was killed by a car before we
could find where she had had her kittens. We tore apart the entire bottom of
that trailer trying to find where they were. We had no luck. After about five
days with no food, we were very worried. It was cold and raining. Than
somehow we managed to hear small cries all of a sudden, which hadn't been
there. We followed them and were able to find five healthy beautiful kittens. We
raised all of them. We hand fed them, we did everything the mother would do
if she had been there. After about four months we had given them a bean bag to
lay on since they didn't have free roam yet. We went to get them off one day
and found that they had all been laying on top of Baby. She looked dead. Her
entire body was limp and cold. Somehow she managed to survive through yet
another miracle, unfortunately she did get slight brain damage from lack of oxygen.
Today, she lives with me and is the most cuddly cat you will ever find. Every
night she sleeps right on my chest. And throughout the day she follows me
everywhere, even trying to jump in the tub when I take showers. She Is
slightly skittish around other cats, understandably, but loves dogs and any
and all people she meets. She is very special to me.
