Nicky
(officially Nicholas) is a Russian Blue (purebred but looks
Siamese, as the Siamese was introduced into the Russian Blue line to
keep the Russian Blue from becoming extinct; at least that's what I
was told). Nicky was abused at two months of age, but now is a very
loving, wonderful cat. However, I am the only person he trusts.
He and Paz (my big black-and-white female cat) are best pals. They
snuggle together all the time. Usually they do their "heart-shaped
snuggle" around Valentine's Day, which is perfect and adorable. We do
play occasionally, but all three of my cats are pretty laid-back and
tire quickly of playing. I suspect that none of them were taught to
play as kittens. They all love to be in the patio enclosure in the
summer - including Lexie, Nicky's littermate. None of them are really
into catnip, either! Nicky is very sweet but hides any time I have
guests. As I said before, I am the only human Nicky trusts, but I love
him just as he is.
