Fang
wandered up last October. He was scrawny, his hair was short and stubby,
and he was hungry and scared. I took him in with my five other rescue cats, and
soon he was healthier and much happier, and now he's a big, fluffy handsome
boy who easily became a member of the family. He was given his name because
of his unusually long upper fangs, but he's just a big loverboy.
Looking at his picture when he first arrived and how he looks now, I can't
believe he's the same cat. I don't think he would have survived much longer
if we hadn't found each other.
Fang is a very affectionate, outgoing and laid-back boy who loves playing
with his brothers and sisters. He's always one of the first to greet visitors
with sweet little squeaks and purrs. His favorite toy is the plastic ring
from milk jugs... he can toss them up in the air and catch them with his
paws, meowing proudly the whole time. One of his favorite places is in the
kitchen window where he can watch the birds and squirrels in the yard.
Another favorite place is stretched out on the floor next to my feet. He's
always waiting at the door to greet me when I get home from work, meowing
"hello, I missed you!" as soon as I walk in. When we go to bed, he purrs
loudly and "makes biscuits" on me before curling up beside me. He has thrived
with me and is a very special kitty... I love him dearly, and I can tell
that he loves me, too!
