Janie's
daddy was a big orange cat and her mommy was a black and white
cat. I was first introduced to Janie when she was born. I picked her up
from a family friend. Janie was very shy and always scared easily and
wasn't as active as her sisters and brothers. However, I knew she would be
a perfect addition one to our family and for her sister cat! Janie is a
joy to be around. She is "big boned" as I like to call her and has
enormous paws! Some of Janie's nicknames are "Janie ball", "Janielicious"
and "Saber tooth Janie"! Janie enjoys spending her time lying in the sun
and on top of her jungle gym and often you can find her sleeping on her
back and in very odd positions! She enjoys running after her kibble/dry
food and paws at it as if she were a soccer player. She can catch the
kibble in her paws and when thrown in the air as well!
One of Janie's favourite past times is lying on tissue paper and inside of
gift bags! She is also a mommy and daddy's girl and enjoys sleeping right
beside us. Janie doesn't have a normal "meow" sound. She likes to yell!
Janie is a very unique and kindred spirit. She and her sister are complete
opposites of one another but both very special. Janie is our little
cuddlier and enjoys nose kisses, belly rubs and especially enjoys lots of
hugs and kisses. Janie also has been taking care of her sister as she has
been sick. Before she got sick, you would find both of them getting into
little fights with one another. Jealously of course! But the past month or
so, we actually have seen Janie more concerned for, and trying to comfort
her big sister. It's a beautiful thing to watch. Janie is also very
extraordinary and there is nothing like the love and friendship that Janie
has shown to us on a daily basis. We are sincerely blessed to have these
two special girls in our life.
