Joanna
and I met at just the right time for both of us. My beloved kitty
had died very suddenly and I was devastated. Joanna had been waiting for a
forever home for three years. Joanna was a wayward girl (with kittens) who
ended up in a no-kill shelter when she was about one & a half years old. She
stayed there for one year and waited and waited. She could not understand
why no one wanted her.
While at the shelter, she was rescued by the Maine Coon Adoptions and sent
to live in a foster home. She waited and waited for someone to take her to
her forever home. I was lonely and sad and missing my precious kitty that
had died.
Then it happened. We found each other. Joanna was sitting in her very
large cage while her foster dad was working nearby. I walked in and it was
love at first sight. Joanna walked out of the cage and sat on my lap and
rubbed her head against my chin. It was a match made in heaven. I took
Joanna to her new home and she moved right in and took over!
Joanna and I have lived together for three years. Joanna loves life. She
is friendly, outgoing, sociable, curious, playful and affectionate. Joanna
is a clown and a talker! She has something to say about everything and her
most favorite phrase is "please brush me". Her second most favorite is
"Please give me some food."
Joanna is beautiful and Joanna makes life beautiful for all who know her.
She has brightened my life every day from her very early morning greeting
to her last good night before we go to sleep.
