Hi!
My name is Charlie. I am a one-year-old cat and I live in Caldwell,
Idaho with my mom and dad.
Some of my favorite pastimes are: watching paper come out of my mom's
printer, playing fetch with my pink plastic ball, watching for squirrels
in our yard, and playing soccer with my ball, either in the empty bathtub
or in the kitchen when my mom is cooking dinner.
One of my very favorite toys is the roll of bubble wrap that my mom
accidentally dropped on the floor. I grabbed it and ran away with it,
tossing it in the air and wrestling with it. I always win the wrestling
matches though because of the terrific rabbit kicks I can give.
I love to play tag with laser lights or even flashlights. For some reason
I cannot seem to catch the light but it is fun to try. I like to help my
mom make the bed, especially when she puts new sheets and blankets on the
bed, but I do my best work from beneath the covers.
When I want to take a nap I like to sleep in my special bed in front of
the fireplace or in a laundry basket, especially if it has warm towels in it.
I am an only child but I do have some other playmates that live in two
clear boxes that have water in them, that my mom calls aquariums. There
are fish, frogs, and ghost shrimp in there and I love to watch them move
around in the water. I also like to play tag with my friend Ollie. He's a
Betta fish and can swim really fast. Of course he is inside the box and I
am outside so I can never catch him, but we have lots of fun together.
I have heard that most cats don't like strangers or are afraid of them,
but I love people. When I hear someone come in the door, I run to see who
it is and I ask them to pet me.
My mom says that, not only am I a friendly cat, but I'm a cute one too.
