Kit
is a very active nineteen-year-old cat who still likes to bat at her toy
as you can see in this picture. She gets in quite a workout. She has
survived her two sisters, Lucy who lived to be fifteen, and Missy who sadly
passed away the night before Mother's Day 2011 at the ripe old age of eighteen.
Kit, unlike her sisters who both suffered from hyperthyroidism has had no health issues.
Kit is showing no signs of slowing down and within the past year has started
demanding to go outside frequently (always with supervision). She is a very
loud and vocal cat. She enjoys talking to the birds. Somehow it came to be
that she now must drink her water from a glass!
She has a gourmet appetite and enjoys trying new foods, such as pancakes,
garbanzo beans, and macaroni & cheese, not to mention shrimp and filet
mignon! She is one spoiled kitty and she deserves it. She loves to lie on
her blanket on the couch and is real snuggly girl. She's a real sweetie who
is unbearably cute, and we love her tons!
