Let
me tell you why she rocks: Goldie loves the garden as much as I do. She
follows me around, plays hard-to-get, and then pet me, then play with me,
then I want to go in, then out - all in, sometimes short, succession. She's
so funny. What a joy! She has caught her first bird, but mostly she is
content to watch them, as she has now, I guess proven that she can catch
one if it is important. She likes to be vacuumed (within reason, of course)
and doesn't even get pissed off when I brush her teeth. She is a remarkable cat!
Goldie is very sweet and quite affectionate, and sometimes she can be quite
a pest. Outside she is inquisitive, but stays nearby. She loves to watch
and "talk" to the birds, and to lounge under the flowers on hot days.
Goldie can't get enough petting, and is especially keen to have her nose
scratched. She also quite enjoys a bit of rough play, and she tells us when
she's keen by chasing us around the house and attacking our ankles and
feet. Goldie is an expert at parkour; she deftly bounces off the walls
higher than one meter (three feet) high, and can turn on the light switch
and open door handles. All up she is quite a special little girl.
