Finster
is a rescue kitty who had previously been adopted but had been
returned because he was a "behavior problem." His new mother, being a 4th
grade teacher, knew he would be a worthwhile challenge. He is a very
special kitty because on most days he forgets he's a cat. He will follow
you around the house as if you taught him to heel on command. He has a
voracious appetite and his meow sounds very similar to a bark when he
wants to be fed. He resides in Inverness, Florida, where he graciously
allows the owners of the house to reside as well.
His favorite game is hide and ambush humans. He hides and waits for his
prey. Once he sees a moving target, there is no stopping him. He also
enjoys hunting and deposits his "catch" in the guest bathroom. Finster is
an extremely social cat who loves company and when the doorbell rings, he
beats us to the door. Last night he came trotting through his cat door
soaking wet since he fell into the swimming pool, again! And, it was
pretty chilly water in Florida last night.
But what really makes him unique is that he gets an allowance which he
uses to provide good behavior treats in my classroom.
