Markiz
is the most "spoiled" cat in the world. Or at least he acts like it,
but we'll get to that later. I got him one year ago when he was one month old.
I am seventeen and this is my first pet, besides goldfish from the fair that don't
really count as real pets. He is a Persian cat, and he is grey with some
white parts. I like to call him a French cat because of his "goatee" and
"mustache." He is playful, and also loves to sleep. Now when I picked his
name, I put his features into consideration, such as the goatee and
mustache, and that is why he has a French name! In French it is spelled
"Marquise" but I gave it an American spelling!
Now Markiz is very lazy! Something funny is, sometimes when we give him
treats, they fall out of his mouth, and instead of reaching and eating it
like any other cat would do, he just stands there and waits for us to pick
it back up, and try again. Also he sleeps all day, and becomes very active
at night, usually when I'm about to go to sleep! He also has the odd habit
of sitting like a person, which just looks silly! But I love him very much,
just as he is.
