A
friend of ours found a litter of three kittens in their shed last October. Due
to allergies, they couldn't keep them. So my husband and I decided it was
time for an addition to our family. When we first saw the then dark gray
blue-eyed cutie, it was love at first sight! Don't worry, the other two kittens
also found a happy home.
We named her Rain because it was raining the day we got her and because of
her color at the time. It ended up being a very fitting name because she
loves water! Rain is very loving and always makes us smile. She usually
greets us at the door and is happy to see us when we get home, unless she's
too sleepy. She has a great personality and fits in perfectly with us. When
she is in a lovey mode, she's a little cuddle monkey always purring up a
storm. When she's in play mode, she's great at catching her toys high up in
the air and doing crazy flips. When she does something that she knows she's
not supposed to do and we tell her no, she talks back and walks away. It's
hard to be mad at that! It has been so much fun having her around. We can't
imagine life without her!
I included photos of her from recently all the way back to the day we got
her. She has changed a lot over the months! We didn't expect her to turn into
a beautiful black cat!
