Jake
is a very important member of our family. Me and my daughter were
walking in petsmart and we found a six-month-old cat in a a cage. I took my
husband to see him and miraculously, he said yes as the cat nuzzled in his
arms. We had to get him because he had an all black eye from some disease
he had as a kitten. His name was originally Jake and we kept his name,
because it just suited him.
Jake is the funniest cat in the world. Because of his one blind eye, Jake
always falls off of stuff and often can't find his toys! But his eye can't
stop him. He has a playmate, Marley. He also plays with a cat who lives
outside, Cheeto. Jake has a special connection with my husband. Jake often
misses him when he is away and cuddles him at night. Everyone loves Jake,
and Jake loves all of us.
