This
is Fred, and he's quite the gentleman. Fred is a refined nine-year-old
ferocious panther - okay, he's actually an American shorthair. Charismatic
and distinguished, he has a surprisingly playful side to him - one which
often reveals itself when strings and/or are are boxes present. He can spend
hours just playing with a piece of string!
His favorite activities include sleeping, stalking imaginary prey from box
forts, looking at himself in the mirror, and eating bacon. And waffles. And
green beans. And floss - he'll eat nearly anything if his mood is just right
(I've even caught him trying to eat out of the garbage, silly cat!), yet his
ferocious appetite fails to besmirch his devilishly adorable good looks.
He's a good-looking cat and he knows it, with his excessive strutting around
and staring at his own reflection as if astonished by the unnatural beauty
that beholds him. Though understandably overconfident at times, he also has a
very sweet side - he greets anyone that enters the front door with tail
raised high and thoroughly enjoys our nightly cuddling. He's a very friendly
cat and has never met a human he doesn't like, though he does like a human
significantly more if they bestow gifts of food upon his majesty.
He also likes to wear bow ties and drink tea, that classy fluffball.
