Tigerlillie
is our "old lady" of our three cats. She is as crabby and
persnickety as can be. Now you might be thinking "She sounds horrible!" Well
yeah she can be sometimes, but it is just that she is a diva. She doesn't
like people grabbing all over her and picking her up.
We first got Tigerlillie when a friend of ours found two small kittens
abandoned by someone's door step next to bags of trash. Out of both kittens
Tigerlillie was the one for us. We knew from the start that she would be a
great addition to the family, although our father didn't think so at the
time. As younger kids my sister and I would bring in so many stray cats from
time to time and we would keep them for a little while. That whole day our
dad kept saying "don't bring that inside" and we said we wouldn't.
Until...our mom came home! That's when we asked her and gave her our little
puppy eyes and then some begging and she immediately and shockingly just let
us bring her inside.
For years it was all about Tigerlillie, until we started adding more animals
to the family and that is when she began to get a bit of an attitude. I mean,
all she wants is to be the center of attention at all times, no shame in that
when it comes to being a cat! My sweet and rude old gal will always be my
favorite ... even though she bops me from time to time, but hey, that's just tough love!
