This
is our Mitzi, who is now sixteen years old. She is a Calico cat, who lives in
Jerusalem, Israel. She has a very sweet personality, on the one hand very
friendly to us and our friends, and on the other hand she likes her
independence and personal space. Lately she has acquired some funny habits,
like insisting on drinking water from her personal glass, and only on the
table. She has trained us quite well in this respect ...
She also likes climbing onto the stomach of one of us who is lying on the
bed, and treading upon it with her front paws for two to three minutes. After
making sure her nest is ready, she settles down on the victim's stomach and
goes to sleep. And then who would dare disturb her? Recently she has taken to
lifting freshly laundered socks from the laundry basket, and distributing
them in the living room or bedroom. She certainly keeps life interesting, to
say the least! We all love her.
