After 5 years of surviving
with kidney disease, Frosty went over to the Rainbow Bridge
on May 26, 2015. Frosty has been a great joy to me over close to 17 years and will be
missed greatly.
She was a very loving companion who would come when called and greet me at the
door whenever I came home, following me around the house like a little puppy. When
Frosty was a kitten, she was so tiny that she used to climb up the back of my dressing
gown and perch herself up on my shoulder in the morning while getting her food ready.
It wasn’t so cute as she got bigger and her claws got stronger! Frosty and my husband
used to chatter at each other for their time with me which could be quite comical at
times ... yes, Frosty was in my life before my husband!
Growing up Frosty loved the play fetch and wasn't one for being held until she got older.
She loved to cuddle on my lap though and especially loved sleeping in front of my
space heater when working from home.
Frosty was with me during the worst times of my own health issues and kept by my side
which was very comforting, I can only hope that I gave her the same comfort during her
final time. I truly wish you were still here but know that you no longer have to deal with
your illness. Until we meet at the base of the Rainbow Bridge my beautful girl. You will
always have a place in my heart.
