Hello everybody, my name is Sprout! You met my buddy Spooky already, but when I'm finished with my story you will be easily convinced that I'm a way more amazing cat than Spooky! I was born in the wild and the first year of my life I survived somehow, always on the edge of giving up and just moving on into the cat heaven.

One day I crossed a road as fast as I could and behind me I heard one of those horrible big metal monsters screeching and then it stopped suddenly. I stopped as well - curiosity, you know... One of those hairless two-legs crawled out of the metal monster and it looked at me and I heard her making noises with her mouth. It sounded nice so I answered her. We did that a few minutes and then she tried to touch me! Oh no, not with me! I ran away a few meters but somehow ... I couldn't help it - that hairless thing seemed to be nice and I was in desperate need of some food and craving help.

So I decided I would let her pick me up and see what happened next. She brought me into the metal monster and we moved very fast! I was so scared but the hairless thing didn't stop making noises with her mouth and I felt like I could trust her. I landed in a room with two more hairless things. They inspected me and as far as I understood it they said I'm already at least one year old but I must have looked terrible - everybody thought I was just six months old!

I didn't mind what they did with me, I just wanted to rest and food of course. After a while I ended up in a house and there I've got food! Soooo much food! I couldn't stop eating! Oh heaven - I will never leave this food ever again! For a few days I did nothing else except eating and sleeping. I recovered slowly. After ten days I discovered an open window. .. Silly hairless thing! I sneaked out and ran away. But I figured out quite quick I won't get any food outside the house so I went back to that place one week later and I could swear that hairless thing was happy to see me again. This time I stayed in the house for a very long time. I was fine with it. I had food, a nice cosy place to sleep and there were already two of my own kind in the house which accepted my presence after a while.

I grew and I got stronger. When I was picked up I've weighed only 1 kg and now I'm 3kg. I was an adorable tomcat now and I forgave my hairless thing for that little incident with another hairless thing who did something to those little balls between my legs ... I just had a good life for more than a year.

And then ... I just disappeared again. This time for weeks. I'm not going to tell you what happened to me - it wasn't any good. My hairless thing left the house where I was living. She just disappeared as well! I've got the whole story later: She moved into another house. I was already gone for three weeks and she had no hope to see me ever again but just in case she left pictures of me with all neighbors and told them to ring her if they see me around. And so it happened another five weeks later that I was picked up again by some hairless thing in a metal monster. She saw me walking on the road and remembered the picture of me. When she stopped beside me and called my name I ran straight to her - she looked like she would help me! And she did.

She called my hairless thing and told her she found me. I think my hairless thing cried on the phone when she heard the good news. She came to me with her metal monster and she got a shock when she saw me. No wonder. I'd had an accident weeks ago - my left back leg was dislocated. Ouch ... it was so painful for me. I couldn't hunt, I couldn't go home ... So I was again just a bag of bones when I came back to my hairless thing.

Well, my name means something. I just had to sprout again, get bigger and stronger and so I did. The X-ray of my leg showed the dislocation and that it was already at least eight weeks old. It was too late to repair it. They discussed cutting off my leg but my hairless thing said she would prefer to wait and see how I got on with it. I'm glad she did! My bones arranged themselves. It is stable, I have no pain and I'm using the leg like nothing happened ever! Aren't I a lucky tom? After a long time of recovering, loads of food and more rest I started to discover my new neighborhood bit by bit. And now, two years later I'm just another happy cat, enjoying my cat life and I never stay away from home more than one day. I know where the food is!

So, what do you think! My story is much more impressive than my buddy's ghost-story, isn't it!? Of course I have pictures of me. I'm such a handsome cat, as you can see. The last picture is showing you how terrible I looked when I was found the first time.I'm glad this times are over, I tell you...
