Never having cats, I was dubious about them. One summer my son brought in a stray, and all that changed. I fell in love with Dexter, but then he took him back to school. I was heartbroken, I had fallen in love with a cat. I went to the shelter and saw this Tuxedo cat looking at me, not taking his eyes off me. When they let him out he was so easy going, unafraid and purring.That was it, he was the one. But then lo and behold another cat came out, a tabby his brother. So I came home with two cats.
My husband and I love these cats, but Sunny in particular is my companion. He is by my side all day, and follows me everywhere. He loves to be scratched and held. How can a cat be so affectionate? He is the alpha cat and is completely fearless, my saying is, "Don't mess with Sunny." This cat has brought such joy to us, I now cannot imagine life without a cat.
