We got Freddie as a rescue cat when he was one year old. In fact, he chose us by coming to sit on my husband's knee when we went to view some cats that needed a home.
It didn't take him long to settle down and from the first day we had him, he has given us nothing but love. He isn't a cat who likes to hunt as he much prefers the comfort of a cozy fire and a nice chair to sleep on.
He is very sociable and enjoys company, but also likes to be left to snooze. He is also very sensitive and knows when you're ill or feeling down and he will come and sit with you. He loves to nibble my ear and purrs so loud when he's doing it, it's hard to hear anything else.
He likes fuss and loves being tickled under his chin and on his tummy but his favourite place to be, is snuggled up with us on the bed on cold nights or lying in my arms like a baby. He's not just my cat, he's my best friend, my furry boy, my confidante. I know every cat owner says that their cat is special, and I'm no different. Freddie is special and fortune shined on us the day we adopted him and gave him a loving home, as we have had so much more love back from him in return.
