Molly was an unexpected blessing, even though she's a little needy. Since my last cat's passing it's been hard to think of caring for another animal. It was my sister who discovered her at her work. The tiny calico was so starved her ribs where visible from a distance and she was so scared around anything that moved.
After a few encounters, the tiny cat was brought to our home. We expected her to hide from everything and freak out like most cats do when they are in a new environment. But not Molly! She sniffed a few things, found the bed, then fell fast asleep curled up between two warm bodies. At the time my sister and I were playing Lego Harry Potter and decided that she be named after a member of the Weasley family, and Molly was the natural choice. We love her!
