We found Betty as a feral kitten in the neighbors' yard. We think she was about six weeks old. She was afraid of everyone and everything. My wife was off for the summer and spent part of each day getting her to eat and drink. This was June of 2016, a very warm time in El Paso.
After about a month, Sue got Betty to come to her. I had never seen anyone tame a feral kitty before. I was amazed. Now she is a happy, healthy indoor kitty. One photo is the day we first found her, the next was taken this week.
We also have three other cats, all rescues, and Betty is now a part of the family, and loves relaxing in the couch with her favorite Squishy. I woke her from her mid-afternoon nap. She feels if you don't sleep 14 hours a day you are slacking off. We love her!
