Adopted on March 27, 2018 at the SPA (Society for the Protection of Animals) of Torreilles Refuge "The Garden of the Padrine," Irbis is about four years old. He was brought to the shelter by the pound, following the death of the old lady with whom he lived. His coat was so tangled that it had to be shaved on his flank and half of the tail! He also has a pin in the left paw that afflicts him with a perpetual limp and gives him a rather tripod approach; in short, his is a cat that needs calm, so that we get along very well!
Irbis is accommodating and affectionate, playing as much as his slight infirmity allows him, and he is endowed with a robust appetite. Just the other day we have made a first outing, there will be others so that little by little he becomes familiar with the surroundings. But don't worry, my cats never go out alone, I always stay with them. I am also used to holding them, and gotten them used to staying on my shoulders when I walk. This is a habit that I have always instilled in my cats. For the moment Irbis is docile and eager to learn; in the coming weeks will see if this good will bears fruit!
(It should not be hastily concluded that I have already forgotten about my beloved Maôu and those of you who have many children or adored animals know that love does not share, but multiplies as many times as there are individuals to love. My love for Ma'u will remain and will remain perpetual and unaltered, the love that I will give to Irbis is all new and spontaneously generated, in no case does one replace the other.
