Here we see my sister's cat Effie Lou. She is a gorgeous grey with penetrating yellow eyes. I would love to pet her and hear her sweet purr but she is 100 percent antisocial with all humans except a very few select people. She will even hiss at her own human when she is displeased. Trust me, I've seen it!
Effie lives a quiet life totally indoors. My sister spoils her rotten. Maybe that is why she has such a snobbish attitude. Oh, wait, all cats think they own the world. Effie is just more vocal about it. She is content living in her comfortable abode watching life outside her window waiting for the next time Mommy gives her a snack. She in turn will rub up against her mistress purring her gratitude and then curl up in the warm lap offered to her.
She got a bit sick a while back and her Mommy was beside herself wondering if it was Effie's time to go to the Rainbow. Luckily, Effie is doing well now and Mommy is all happy again. Life is good!
