My cat's name is Charles Xavier, but we just call him charlie! He is an awesome cat, very vocal and loves going on walks.
Charlie came into our lives when his momma decided to have her babies in our garage. She was a feral cat we had named Fable. Where we live there are sadly hundreds of feral kitties living in the woods and in some of the abandoned factories in town. She had her babies and Charlie was the runt, he also had an eye infection and she just gradually stopped paying him any attention, so we took over feeding him, first with a bottle, than soft food. We got meds for his eye and it healed up.
We found a home for Fable and Charlie's sisters at a farm right outside the town. We watched as he grew from a little runt kitty to a full grown hefty sixteen-pound Maine Coon kitty.
He is now a little over five years old. He is an awesome cat, very loving. The only exception to that is my daughter’s cat Snowball. For some reason (we assume its natural territorial instinct for Maine Coons) he dislikes Snowy very much and poor Snowy is over 13 years old, so we pretty much just have to keep them apart.
Charlie loves going for walks outside on his harness, it's his favorite part of the day, lol He (me actually, lol) is currently trying to get a GoFundMe profile up and running on Twitter. My Aunt, before she passed away in May, had a Jack Russell Terrier, Rupert. Ruppie is over ten years old. Ruppie hates EVERY person, animal, etc except my Aunt, me and my two kids. He's a mean butt li'l dog. But when we brought Charlie in from outside all of a sudden, Rupert falls in love, lol. Rupert and Charlie have been best friends ever since! We also rescued two Pitbull the year before Charlie was born, so Charlie grew up with Rupert, Baby Bear and Jewel. Charlie has been seen panting like a dog and has taught all three of the dogs to groom and clean their faces with their paws, lol. It's very cute to watch.
