Meet my baby, Luna! I will let her begin our story...
"My mom is a college student who needed some support in the midst of schoolwork and being away from home. Although she lives in a dorm, she knew that she would be able to provide the best life for a cat who needed love as much as she did. She looked up the local humane society's website, where she stumbled upon my picture and instantly fell in love. Before she even came to visit me in the shelter that same day, she had already named me Luna, because of the unique coloring on my face that resembles a lunar eclipse. I was only in the shelter for five days when my mom came to meet me. Before I met her, I was shy and hiding in the corner of my crate. However, right when I saw her face, I knew I loved her too, and I climbed right into her lap where I wanted to stay.
"That night, my mom left me in order to get all of the supplies she needed to complete our home. However, I knew she would come back for me, and sure enough, she took me home the next morning! I have the best life, filled with many toys and love. My favorite toy of all to play with is my ball, yes, ball! I am such an unusual, yet amazing cat, that I play fetch! I keep my mom up late at night bringing my ball back and forth to her in bed, resorting to the foot of the bed to sleep with her when I get wore out. Although I am six now, I still have a lot of energy, and I know that with my mom as my owner, I will live a long, happy life."
I knew Luna needed me, but what I didn't know is that she would change MY life more than I would change hers by adopting her. She is the sweetest, cuddliest cat that I have ever met, and I don't know what I ever did before becoming her cat mom!
